How to Perform

Anchor straps at a mid-to-high point. Hold handles with palms facing inward, lean back with arms extended forward, and align body in a straight plank.

  1. Brace core and glutes to maintain a rigid body line.
  2. Raise arms upward and outward into a 'Y' shape overhead.
  3. Keep elbows straight and initiate movement from the shoulder blades.
  4. Pause at the top with tension in the rear shoulders and lower traps.
  5. Lower slowly to the starting position with control.
